lanzar optidrive 500 reviews wanted

i have acquired another lanzar amp optidrive 500 old school amp, the bluish in color one, i was wondering if anyone out there has tried this amp before, since i have alot of orion old school amps, what would compare this amp to in the orion old school amp line. this amps specs are 250 x 2 @ 4 ohms, 500 x 2 @ 2 ohms, and 1000 x 1 @ 4 ohms mono. These ratings were at twelve volts, so it should be alot more at 14.4 when the car is running.

1. 250 hcca?

2. 2100 hcca?

3. or other old school amp.

i would like to only compare to old school amps, since i don't have current made insufficient amps...

not sure exactly what you're asking.

It's a tank. That era Lanzar's were among the elite.

I'd be surprised if it's not getting in the 1.5kw neighborhood at 4 ohms.

i would. they do rated power....they may BENCH at that 1500, but we all kno benchtests are worthless.

its like my other amp i have lanzar optidrive 2500 model the old bluish color one, its just that since i have a bad back, i hate to replace a amp just to find out if that if worth to go all the troubles of replacing my current amp(ppi a1200.2 art series) just see or find out if its better or not and if its worth the troubles.
