i have 16v batteries. if i get it, itll be on 16v not 12v
well i know of at least 10 people who ran these amps and none of the did it over 14v, do it and post results, we know the ss6500 does 6k on 18v
but for the price its an hell of an amp, how much pickesd up
i was considering the 6500 too...what are the prices those go for
300 more used than the lanzar and its the same amp

the soundstream is not the same amp-each uses the same board but thats where the similarities stop-i used these at 16.9 volts for comps-i might still do shows-cant say just yet

it's a PWM regulated power supply driven amplifier, so theoretically, it should make the same power on 11-16v, the only difference would be how many amps it has to draw to do it
and i've heard some ungodly estimates at how many amperes these things draw

wouldnt it do more power at a higher voltage?
no, it would just draw fewer amps

the benefit is obviously that it will also not make LESS power if your voltage drops.
