is it kind of like, for example: in a game, u can access the console menu, and type in different commands to make the game easier; such as changing mouse sensitivity, and FOV, etc?
and is it kind of like altering your config folder for the game? so that you can alter how things appear? is that kind of like accessing the console?

and how does one access the console? im not trying to hack or anything, but i feel lost in how it happens.

Any explanation on how to hack would leave you lost because you don't have the basic comprehension of what is going on on the back end. I honestly don't even know how to approach half this shit out there. It isn't the same for every site/system/OS/Language. It's about finding weaknesses in code, flooding requests to shut it down, a weak password, Buffer overruns, etc. There is no one way to hack and there. it's like someone building a wall and someone on the other end always trying to figure out how to knock it down. You would have to be a geek with nothing better to do than reverse engineer everything you come across.

Or you can be a script kiddie and just google for known scripts and hacks against what you want to tear down(ie a VB forum) and try them out on your victim. You will only get small sites for the most part on shit like that, because any site worth anything is going to have someone staying on top of publically known exploits.
