Lame question...

Yeah, so what would I need, a 2-channel? The tweeters don't need their own channel, right?
No they don't. normaly a set of componants come with a external xover..

speaker to xover, tweeter to xover, and xover to amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

** unless you get a "cheaper" pair of componants, sometimes the tweeter will have a cap built in to cross out the lower frequencies...but yeah //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

2chan amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

some components have crossovers that are setup for biamplification too. so if you had a setup like this you could use a 4 channel amp. dont really know about the pros/cons to this though other than being able to run more power to mids and less to tweeters.
