Officers said they arrived to find Delafield in a wheelchair, armed with two knives and a hammer. Police said the woman was swinging the weapons at family members and police.
Within an hour of her call to 911, Delafield, a wheelchair-bound woman documented to have mental illness, was dead.

A medical examiner found Delafield died from hypertensive heart disease and cited the Taser gun shock as a contributing factor, the report said. On her death certificate, the medical examiner ruled Delafield's death a homicide.

actually it happend along time ago, its just now they figured out the taser is what led to her death so there gonna sue them

but heres the best part, the wheelchair's sister is the one who called the cops!

I think tasers are the greatest tool a cop has, in this particular case it lead to a death but how many officers' lives were saved using tasers? I am willing to bet that its more than the amount of people that died by them.

they are not trained properly,A person in a wheelchair? what were they thinking? even if she is armed with knives and hammer, how much damage can she do as long as you are out of reach,wheel chairs are kind of hard to manuver and attack a person at the same time, it seems to me that they just did`nt want to distract the woman while one officer could have grabbed her arms or hands from behind you would think this would be a logical plan, but hey people are getting dumber and lazy everyday just want to collect a paycheck some of them not all.

This is why people hate cops in general... It's pretty sad how stupid some people can be, the worst part is someone has to die before police misconduct gets brought into everyones eyes!
