the buttons on a real one will be mother-of-pearl, not plastic. there should be two tags, one with the size and one saying where it was made. the care tag should say "DEVANLAY" and the word shouldn't have any stars around it. there's a few others....the fakes keep getting better so who knows anymore

And they all have 2 tags. One with the size, and one with where it was made.

I don't know how to tell what the buttoms are made of.

I think they are real.

The crocodiles on mine have VERY defined teeth, you can make out the white eyes on the tags, and the buttons have rounded edges on them.

So according to that these are probably legit.
