Labor laws and heat?

Your not complaining yet you ask about heat labor laws I think u need to tetras the definition of the word complain
Last time I checked, asking about something wasn't categorized as complaining.

Everyone is so quick to jump on the OP for asking a question by telling him to man up and quit being a bitch. It's like you all just wait for an opening on the site to crack on another forum member. I'd understand if the person was being a douche, but he's not. Hard to keep the site growing and advancing if it feels like a high school hallway with "internet bullies" trying to crack a shot at someone.

Can you guys honestly sit there and say you dont btch about your job every once in a while? You dont get upset about something about your job, pay, conditions, your boss, co-workers, customers, clients, etc...?

Well I work in a warehouse and its getting hot out, this week is supposed to be 100+. I looked on OSHA and PA's websites to find labor laws specific to working in such heat, but couldnt come up with anything substantial, anyone have any experience with this kind of situation?

Not sure about your job/state, but here in California the farm workers employers are required to provide water to the workers and be available at all times last I heard.

Obviously if you're working in high temperatures you need hydration, if you tell your boss you need water and he refuses and you get heat stroke and dehydration, I'm sure you'd have a lawsuit.

I'm not sure if the law varies by state. But in Kentucky, there is not limit to the temperature you can work in. The only thing that is required is that you receive more breaks from work, and provided water at all times.

Or your family would have a lawsuit if you die //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
