I like mine but most of the guys on here seem to dislike kicker products other than there amps. Imo mine sound good for older subs. I only paid like $50 bucks for the pair. Price played a big part. In the first week they blew out the side of the cheezy prefab box. Build a good solid box and dont overpower it if you do get it. Not a bad sub imo but what matters is if you like it.

my L7 is 2007. sounds great. got it brand new that same year.

In the right box (large), they are... okay. Wouldn't be my choice however, but not everyone has the same taste or goals.

You can make them sound OK if you have somebody that really knows what they are doing design and build the box. But these people are few and far between
