Personally I was going more for sound quality than pure air movement. So on the kicker reps advice I went with 3.5 sealed per 15. But if you want SPL then I have seen many ported l7's that are moving a shitload of air.

they'll do ok in 3.5 sealed. i just finished one last night for 2 L7 15's. 10.6 cubes 34hz. we installed it last night with 16 guage speaker wire:crap: he's getting 10 guage today. if it does as well as i think it will, he'll probably sh!t himself. i did a box for 2 L5 10's in his car, and he claims it's too loud for his car. 2 L7 15's in his yukon should be louder:crazy:

Should move some air, but won't get very loud.

A guy I know has 2 L7 12's sealed in his Tahoe, dunno what size but it's pretty big, IMO it gets loud and sounds pretty good too, I enjoy listening to it.

I had 2 l5 10's sealed in my s-10 on 1000 watts, and it really hurt my ears. Like I could tell they were being damaged from the amount of pain.

And they sounded great all the way down to 25 or so hz.

i got 2 15in. l7's ported at 34hz with a 7.5cubic ft. box in a trailblazer and it slams. when i play i put on and that low note hits you can see the back doors windows flex like no other. it may not be top of the line but still hits hardd

Ported and go way big on the box.

10s - 2.5 cu ft

12s - 3.5 cu ft

15s - 5 cu ft
