L7 15's or 13W7

I currently have two Kicker L7 15's in a ported box with two Clarius CL1200 on each speaker installed in my 1999 Tahoe. I want to change my setup with a JL Audio 13W7 with JL audio 1000/1 amp. Will this one speaker be louder and better sounding than the L7 15's?? Also, will a Van Gogh 1600 amp be better and were can I buy one from? Any help will be greatly appreicated.

not really ***** amps, but personally id switch them out, my brother had one on his 15in L7, blew it out because all the distortion those amps put out, but then again the song he wasnt playing a fair amount of distortion, he now had a 1500bd, on his new 15in L7, he him and i both think it bumps harder, and we dont have to worry about it blowing

but otherwise, id stick with the L7's, the w7 on the other hand should have better SQ, imo

2 be honest....if u must go the jl route......get 2 15w3's.....omg with 1000watts on each......u will walk all over one 13w7 in spl and sq

i ran a cl1200 for 2 years no problem.....i don't know WTF you're talking about. i also used to have another clarus on speaks that worked fine, and imo speak amps are where distortion matters like....10000x more so.....yea

i'm not gonna lie as i've been upgrading sound has changed a bit but those profile's get the job done more than adequately for the price

a single sub off two amps? i would stay clear of that. you just cant match the amps perfectly enough.
