L5 or L7

SQ definitely depends on your setup. I had a 2002 15" l7 in a 3-cf ported box, tuned to 34hz, and it was way sloppy, but CRAZY loud.

A friend of mine at school has a 2002 12" l7 in a sealed box, and it's not quite as loud, but it actuall sounds musical, and hits cleaner low notes.

There's cleaner sounding setups out there, but it's still pretty **** loud, even when it's setup for sq.

I'd get the 15" L5 because for one I've always wanted a single 15" setup, and it'll probably be cheaper if I'm not mistaken.

i love my L7 so far... good SQ and gets loud when wanted=)

actually l7's can be made the sound absolutely wonderful you jsut have to know how to install them. several SQ awards have been won using L7's if you look around
