KX vs ZX

Looking at 2500.1's

Is there honestly any difference in output and performance between the KX 2500.1 and the ZX2500.1??

IIRC the ZX will bench a TAD bit stronger, but all in all, what's the power/quality difference?

I think one has a fan and one does not, I have a kx 2500.1 and do not know the difference between the 2 lol

According to Kicker themselves, the internals are nearly identical. There are a few different mods. What the amp benches to is totally dependent on the amp itself, my zx didn't bench as high as some others. The big difference is that the zx's look better because the kx's are ugly as hell.

So Aesthetics would be the main difference, and its' worth just buying the kx's since I can get them reasonably cheaper. Awesome

They're so much more expensive!

I've got a chance to get two KX 2500.1's for 825 shipped roughly.

They've both been modified to handle a lower imp and also to accept 16v

Not imo.....I dont like the flashyness of the zx with the red and black and bullshit, imo I like the case of the kx and I looooovvveeee the metal endcaps, imo they make it suuuppppeeerrr sexyyyy:

dd amps are sexy.....but the kx's arent that bad. i likem

im on my 2nd kx 2500.1, love em. The kx's have internal fans and the zx's dont. kind of odd. but yessessentially they are nearly the same performance wise......go with whats cheaper.

Im running a Kx2500.1 and Zx2500.1, on two 12" RE Mts, and theres no difference, but i like the looks of the KXs better!!
