Krank It Up fc-600. Is this just a big capacitor???

The volt reading with it not hooked up is around 1.3v. Will it charge when i wire it in parallel? Is this the same as a regular capacitor or is there a difference? I klnow its not the same as a kinetic cause it cant be used for a starting battery as well. Will it help out at all with voltage drop? Stock electrical with big 3 in 1/0 ga. 90a alt.

It is a small battery not a capacitor.

However if it is at 1.3 volts it may be bad.

You should try charging it.

Yes sounds like the battery is dead.

It's a small AGM battery and if it's reading that low, chances are it's dead. Put it on a low current charge on a smart charger and see what happened. I'd bet it won't recover though.

the guy that sold it to me is saying that it is a capacitor and I can charge it with battery like a regular Cap. It is model fc600 AMP.

yeah it won't charge at all. The guy I bought it from online claims its a capacitor not a battery. And that he knows his car audio with his Fosgate sponsored truck hitting 189.9 dbs. lol
