a lot of the realitors in Livonia(a very white suburb of detroit about 15 minutes away if you take the highway) were sued like 10 years ago because when black people would come to buy a house, they'd sell them a house in redford and say "well it's not livonia, it's right outside livonia, but you'll still get livonia public schools and the houses are cheaper"

one of my boys lives in a really nice area in livonia, and some black family won the lottery and bought a house on his block, and people constantly slashed their tires and egged their house until they moved away.
