there was absolutely nobody touching tyson in his prime. Watch his matches and see what he does to people besides biting ears haha. People were so afraid of him when he was in his prime. I bet you ask any fighter and they wouldnt want to fight him back then

when they are both in their prime, but i think chuck has that one hit wonder thing going on where if he catches you with a solid one your going out. alot they dont use very padded gloves in ufc like boxing so he could maybe take more hits?

if were talking strictly boxing, i gotta give it to tyson even today. the only basis for the argument i have is that my dad used to box when he was younger. hes 55 now and even when me and him are messing around his hands are ridiculously fast and he still hits pretty **** hard. i gotta imagine a mike tyson punch is still something to fear.

yeah he took some time off but hes always training!!! and some of his recent fights it seems likehes doing real good in.

No, not even close. In stand up in his prime, Tyson. It wouldn't even be a fight. Next to Ali, Mike Tyson probably has the fastest hands of any heavyweight in the history of boxing. He doesn't have the power that Fraizer, Liston or Klitschko do, but he can throw so many punches so fast that you don't even realize you were hit until you can't get up.

dont get me wrong liddel is good at what he does but put him in a boxing ring where they only throw fists and nothing else tyson would knock him out. In mma the other person is worried about so much that the other person can do they are always thinking of a leg kick or something to that effect. Tyson was just a freak back then and nobody would of contended with him when he was knocking everyone out in the first round. Put tyson in mma he would get taken down and tapped out so quick though

You don't understand. I have respect for MMA even though I am a boxer, but ask any MMA fighter who would win in hands only standup, a boxer or a MMA fighter, and anyone with any talent and humility will say a boxer. All boxers do is train hand speed, power and accuracy. It wouldn't be a fair fight.
