i was salty when i went to a tech n9ne concert and tech was oppenin for KK... i left right after tech's set was over....

actually, kottonmouth kings are TEN TIMES better than NINETY percent of the garbage that is streamed across the airwaves now a days
the flows richter got are -almost- on par with eminem, one of the best lyricists to date (come on now, there aint no comparison with eminem and lets say young jeezy)
i like kingspade more, kinda fazing out kottonmouth kings. still good chill music though.
to the people who are cuttin up on the kings... find me a band who supports free speech, freedom of thought and legalization of a PLANT and actually has DECENT music with some songs having sick *** beats

hahaha...KMK is doo doo man. lyrics=garbage son. and young jeezy sucks as a lyricist too. if you want real lyrics listen to underground or old shit like Nas' old cd's and wu-tang and shit. those are lyrics. no one has lyrics these days.

the thing is in todays society if its not the "trend", its not cool to "bump" the music or to even listen to it.
a lot of people who arent stoners or smoke think KMK sucks, mainly because they dont smoke.
every smoker i had listen to certain songs from kingspade and KMK turns out to love them.
thats like rap. rappers rap about what, money, drugs, guns, cars, *** and women. and what is important and what do you see today's youth worried about? do a simple myspace search for your average 17 or 18 year old dude. 90% of them are either thugged out, talkin about how they have so many "stacks", how "gangsta" they are
...and that all comes from the music.
KMK has a whole different approach with music, if you dont understand their lifestyle you wont understand the music

some of their newer stuff is not the greatest, but dude they arent out there to "battle" and be the best "flow"
a lot of their songs express their thoughts and feelings, ie the song "positive vibes"

I was big into KMK when I was in high school, back when I was a stoner. I dunno, I just kinda got out of it later on but every now and then I'll listen to some of the albums I had back then such as High Society, Hidden Stash, etc. The only reason I noticed this thread is cuz I'm actually listening to some right now randomly.

you wanna listen to battles....download cassidy battles. dude is ill son. he doesnt seem like it coming out with all of these commercial hits, but his freestyles are crazy. and flow wise...bone thugs take the cake. nobody flows like bone.

i agreee very mutch so..
but no one flows like twista... no body in a group flow's like bone...
but i allso think the best lyracists bar none is Bun B... alll day.. from to hard to swallow to the new cd they just dropped. he knows how to put it down..
and yea crazy white people trying to be hardcore is not my cup of tea... i think they scam little kids into thinkin there cool to sale more cd's..

I saw KMK in concert with Tech N9ne and Bone Thugs too (After Krayzie was kicked out)... i was a little confused. ICP was there to now that I think of it. weird show......
