Any one have any experience with these? Have heard they are similar to the hdc3 and 9500 series motors. I've got an opportunity to trade my solo x 10" for 2. Searched and saw psi has done a recone on them that does about 1500-2000rms. What you guys think

this^^ the soft parts in them are not very good at all,but can be reconed to one hell of a woofer

If i do the trade its not to use them as they are, They are blown anyways. Just wanna know what yall think about the motors on them because they would be reconed anyways.

They are great motors. Ask yourself if it is worthy of the trade though because you will spend some coin on the recones.

Yea, Thats where im kinda undecided. Im not usin the solo x and probably never will, so its just sittin. If i were to trade these would probably sit a while till i figure out what to do with them since ive already got plans for my car with the Nightshade

From the pics the subs look to be in good condition. He said they are blown. Motors have a few scratches from sittin on surfaces but nothing out of the ordinary

Gotcha, missed the other post about them being blown. Yeah it would be a no go for me. Basically, you are trading a working solo-x for two motors and baskets. Not worth it to me.

I need to do something with this Solo x lol Its just sittin and I have no use for it, Got it in a trade a few months ago. Threw it in a box, Tested it for about 20 min and it has sat ever since. Tried postin it on CL and stuff but we all know how cheap some people are and do nothing but low ball

Post it up here. I've seen solo X's go in the classifieds. People around here know their worth more than the Craigslist crowd so you might have better luck. If you want to hook me up with those blown woofers though, see what he wants for them. lol I'm in Dallas and have buddies in H-town

Ill see what he'll take for them. Throw me an offer to give him. Me and a buddy will be in the dallas area tomorrow pickin up some subs from CadillacCam
