Koda's in a 1999 Grand am

i doubt it. not many people have them.

you need to fabricate custom enclosures to mould to the door. its not easy, but its not hard.

learn to fiberglass and you should have no problem.

My skill level on installation is not even close to being there yet.

I wanted to keep the Koda install to look stock, but I don't think thats going to happen. I was thinking of adding a 1in spacer and then cutting the grille off of my door panel and just leaving the speakers exposed.

One other option that came across my mind was to put the Koda woofers in the rear deck and have RE's up front.

If you have the available room, build a spacer out of MDF. Not hard at all....just cut a peice of MDF to fit behind the speaker. Mount the spacer in between the speaker and the door

Exactly what I did on my Maxima to get my Chameleons to fit. use 1/2" MDF and built a spacer. It wasn't very hard and worked out really well.

get some fiberglass and start making a door panel. its not like its time consuming

we can probably do that next weekend. i'll go get 2 1/2in mdf boards and homedepot, and orance county chopper [l]S[/l]hit on it
