I had to keep refreshing the chat because I kept on getting connected to some outsourced punjabs... I finally get somebody with an American name (probably fake)

What was once a $600 camera is now reduced to absolutely nothing. Their updated software has removed support for it, so basically they said **** you, buy a new camera.

I luckily found my old CD with the old software. Problem solved.

I was not about to waste my time searching for old software versions on google, considering most driver storage sites just link straight back to the manufacturer page, which contains the update version of course.

Anywho... Just pointing out that Kodak sucks and abandons perfectly functional products(I know the camera is a bit old). I can understand why companies discontinue support, especially software companies, but this is a !@$@#% camera with one single purpose and is easily backward/forward compatible.

How hard is it to store a solution in their knowledge database so their little techies can copy/paste my question in their database and regurgitate the information for me?

@#%@ Kodak. When I decide to quit being stingy and buy another quality camera, it will not be Kodak. =)

Some people are in college, have jobs and are not able to scroll through heaps of irrelevant google pages (keyword searches are becoming increasingly ineffective as "search engine optimization" companies have discovered methods to milk google for front page spots) to find an outdated software version of a digital camera that has driver they need.

I do not have time to search around for a solution, which is why I seek a solution from somebody that is PAID to provide tech support... They abandoned support for my product; I realize that. However, if they are going to point me in another direction, they should at least guide me somewhere useful so I do not have to spend MY time searching for the solution.

Not going to bother insulting you. It is not worth the time. I do not have to point out that you are a fool, you seem to promote your own stupidity by simply posting.

LOL that camera is like 9 years old, it was 'up to date' during the same time period 16 Color EGA monitors were still popular.. Time to upgrade gramps

No. That will not work. The camera is not recognized with the latest software.

That is a link to the updated software that does not recognize the camera.

It says 4.02 but just redirects to Kodak, which provides the updated version.

I found the old CD(cannot believe I still have it, was almost certain somebody threw my old CDs away when I moved to a new house) with the old software and I have it connected now.
