If i was to buy 2 Koda 6 midbass's, juss the woofers, for 80 each, what else would i have 2 buy for them 2 be used as a front stage? Would it be better 2 juss buy the component set for 350 with tweeters and crossovers? And a amp of course...

Maybe if you could find some Focal Tweeters TN51's and possibly the CDT 560? crossover.. Wild shot, but might work.

depends what do you have up front now? adding a good midbass driver up front is definately a good idea.

If you just bought the mids, then you would need to figure out some way to cross them over. If you have stock speakers now, I wouldn't only buy the mids, I'd upgrade tweeters as well...........

Then you are going to have to run an active setup (crossovers before the amp), and set the crossover points by hand.

I was thinking about it, but I think it would require a bit too much work for a first setup. Its better if you know exactly what you are doing, so you gain benefit from the adjustability of an active setup, instead of a big headache from trying to change 3 things each time so your good speakers stop sounding like crap.

Well basically i have no stock speakers (blown), so i have 2 replace. The Koda 6.1 component system would take care of everything along with an amp right? Im going 2 have a 15" tempest also... with that said for the front, should i put something for the rear? someone said i wouldnt have 2...

Yup, buy an amp and the Kodas (if that's what comp set you want to go for) and you'll be set.
