I found a place selling the new Koda 10's at the old koda 10's MSRP.

I guess you canot buy from adire anymore only retailers. Shipping on them is $10 each and no sales tax for me.

I'm getting ready to order but wanted to make sure I am not getting ripped off.

The total either comes to $269 for one 10" Koda, or $538 for two 10" Kodas.

EDIT: Correct price is 229 each.

Thats alot for some 10s.

it is a retailer on adires website, I think he is taking pre-orders, I asked if he had them in stock though, waiting for a response. They are supposed to be this month according to Adire, so who knows I guess it is possible.

Yea I thought it was alot too, not sure what a reasonable price on them is though...The only other subs that will fit though are W3V2 or some Pioneer Premiere's (the ones made for shallow mounting). I don't mind forking out a little more than for W3's since tehy should sound better.

Mabe an RE RE, but I don't think it is in the same league.

I just got the response, that was fast!

I apologize for the pricing error. I mistakenly gave you the price on the 12" Kodas. The 10" Kodas are $229 each, plus $10 shipping per sub. The total, with shipping comes to $478. If you can find a cheaper price for the Kodas, I'd definitely be willing to either meet or beat that price. I do have the Koda 10s in stock.

quick someone find me a cheaper price!

Acoustic-visions has historically given free shipping on their products (no price increasse to compensate either....just good old fashioned free shipping). I don't, however, know what they'll be charging for the new Koda 10's

alright then, I'm going to sleep on it and order these babies...Still have to build a custom box or have one built... It is going to be a tight fit and the top has to be angled to slope upward.

Oh he didn't say it had to be from an authorized dealer. :p

I know you're probably set on the Koda's but why not get the '05 Type R's for a fraction of that price and use the extra money on something else? Just a suggestion....

Unless this individual has old Koda 10's in stock and is trying to pawn them off as the new units, he's a complete liar... And I'd certainly like to know how he managed to magically transport Koda 10's into his stock when they don't happen to be available yet...

Exactly like squeak said earlier.

Probably because the old Koda's and the Type R aren't really in the same league, SQ-wise...as for the new ones, like Josh said, they aren't available yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif So this "retailer" is blowing smoke out of his ***.

He said the new Koda 10's are out now, and he has them in stock as he jsut got them. He specificaly stated that they are the new koda 10's not the old ones, but he will sell them to me for the msrp of the old Koda 10's.

I don't think type R's will mount properly in a box this small.

it will be .75cu and mounting depth of 5.75, meaning 5.25 is a reasonable mounting depth for the speaker so it can vent.

Refer to JLaine's post before you get ripped.
