LeBron hasn't done anything yet besides get swept in the finals and score 30 a night while losing half of their games.
so it's still

LeBron James > Jesus > MJ > Kobe.... end of story //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Those stats are pretty pointless. Both are amazing players, and both have different strong points. Kobe is hands down a better scorer, though I think Jordan was the better overall offensive player. I'd say they are pretty equal on defense.

MJ has the highest career scoring average(or maybe just a hair below Wilt) of all time, as well as the highest playoff average.

He also has the highest scoring game in playoff history when he dropped 63 on Boston, at Boston, in his second year...

its a fact Jordan played again most players that are in the top50-100 players of all time. honestly how many players in the league are gonna be stand out hall of fame players now?????? compared against jordans era???Talent and stats are 2 different things. Put me in the leage against a bunch of 12yr olds and ill drop 30 a game but put me up against some pros and i wont that the same as the talent level now compared to then. jordan came back at like 40 and was dropping 30+ 40+ on guys
Duncan

Stoudamire

Nash

Kidd

Carmelo

Iverson

McGrady

Yao

Ben Wallace

Garnett

Shaq

All of those people will be stand-out hall of fame players. I'm sure theres a few more as well.

Kobe scored 30+ game with Shaq scoring 35+ a game. Along with Fox and fisher getting their 15-20 a game. Stats really don't mean much like I said, when Kobe turns on his game, I don't think there ever has been a better scorer ever... maybe Wilt but he was a foot taller than everyone else lol.

The verdict is still out on a few of those...like Yao, Mello, Amare, and Wallace.

Compare that to who jordan played with/against...

Bird

Magic

Stockton

Karl Malone

Barkley

Pippen

Dr.J

Drexler

Young Shaq(better than current Shaq)

Reggie Miller

Wilkins

Hakeem

David Robinson

Parish

Ewing

Gervin

Moses Malone

James Worthy

It's not even a comparison, the 80's were the best years for the NBA.

Shaq never averaged more than 30 a game with the Lakers, and Kobe only averaged 30 a game once while playing with Shaq.

Fox also only averaged over 10 a game once with the Lakers, and just barely...and Fisher never got to 12ppg with the Lakers.

Nice try though...

The level of talent in the leage when jordan was playing was greater then what kobe is up against. Look at the players jordan had to play again, Larry Bird, Magic johnson, karl malone, john stockton, Penny hardaway(in his prime), Shaq, Charles barkey, Patrick ewing, john Starks, David Robinson, Dekimbe mutombo, dominique wilkins, Steve smith, brad dorhaty, Joe dumars, Charles Oakley, isiah thomas etc etc etc. their arent as many great players in the league now. thats why lebron and kobe stand out so much
Some people are amazing!
