How much draw can this handle? I'm looking to eventually run 2500-3000 watts with a 140a alt and a couple batts in the back and was wondering if this would be good enough so I can save 40 bucks and put it towards a battery.

alright, thanks. but since they say oversized to compensate does that mean I'll have to trim to fit in a ring terminal?

this and if i remember right i had to trim a little to fit a ring term on end.

depends on the ring terminals, pm nateberrier, he got like 10 for $5 or something, just ask him for the website he got the terminals from. home depot is also a good option for terminals they're $2.50 ea but you can re use them

I'm back it's impulse-electronics.com get 2/0 or bigger terminals or you won't fit it. I just did my big three in my other car. Worked out great. We run knu kca pretty exclusively around here. Run 2k or more all day, usually you don't draw 250 amps between batteries anyway.

do you have any ring terminals? I'm going to check my local True Value tomorrow but if they don't you've got a customer. And how'd the Crescendo tweets work out for ya?

They sound good but don't play low enough, awesome for 25 bucks though. I don't have extras but impulse is super cheap more than any hardware store lol like less than a buck a terminal. All copper too

Oh, I had no idea how they sounded cause they were never installed. Thanks for the heads up on the site, I just bought 9 rings.

If you buy them in bulk they are cheaper i got the heads up for the site from allcrispedup might wanna thank him lol. I found a guy selling som nice fuse blocks on eBay too. we usually get the 2/0 copper lugs from true value, but last time i needed 4 and they only had 3 2/0 so i had to get 1 1/0 ring.
