KnuKonceptz brings you two levels of vibration dampening with Kno Knoise. Kno Knoise is a constrained layer dampener, or what is now commonly abbreviated as CLD. What is a CLD? It is a material that adheres to panel to reduce it from resonating by using a viscoelastic polymer, in this case butyl rubber, sandwiched between two constraining walls to strengthen the outer wall. The outer aluminum backing, reinforces the panel and reduces vibrations and rattles. Our standard model, Resonance Control, is thicker then the competition's "extreme" product and the KnuKonceptz Kolossus Edition features the thickest aluminum layer and butyl rubber combination available.

the Kolossus is 100mil!! wow
I was thinking of just getting the door kit to layer over the thin spots of dynamat but I'm not sure if I'd be able to get my door panels back on with the SDS kit still strapped to it. May give a try anyway. Who needs door panels?

Are you excited for some reason or are you trying to help drum up sales?

I wouldn't mind checking it out to see, but unless it is better then what is currently out there I don't see much of a "jump for joy" situation here.

Well what do you use? I'm just excited to see some other options out there lately like murder matt and kno knoise. Unless I was being paid by
Knu I don't think I, or anyone else would be trying to hype the product @pro\-rabbit.

AudioTechnix, SoundDeadenerShowdown, and that other one.

With their entry level stuff, you get about half as much deadener for the same price you'd get AT deadener for. Granted AT is 60mil and Knu is 70mil.... still doesn't justify the high cost to me.

It's good to see other options out there, but, I definitely will not be buying any Kno Knoise. I think it is too pricey, and especially in comparison

to the ''decent'' ''consumer friendly" cost of some of their other products...
