I just know some friends who have had their lives go down the drain because of marijuana, and that is why I've never tried it nor do I ever plan on it. Everybody is always set in their own ways when it comes to pot which is why it is so hard to have a discussion on it. I am against it, but most people are for it. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.

Now my question to you if you don't mind me asking is: Did your friends have their lives go down the drain because of Marijuana or was it because they personally lacked moderation?

I don't mean to attack you, or even argue with you because You are 100% correct that its your choice, but in marijuana's defense, I think its the absence of moderation is what makes it seem so bad.

One thing that I will agree on, with any one that opposes marijuana is that it is a gateway drug, but once again it is up to that person to have self control or moderation when using any drugs.

I dont know why ppl are so uptight about others that choose to smoke. Sure a lot of ppl have no business doing so, reason being they have no self control. Personally ive started and stopped many times all at my choosing. I havnt ever considered myself "addicted" and dont even see that as possible.

Currently I dont use, and dont plan on it anytime soon. Though im sure sometime down the line I probably will again.

They lacked moderation and motivation once they started using. Wanting to get high all the time, got kicked out first semester for smoking their room, and now he works in a pet store. Other two friends used marijuana and shortly after got into harder stuff. They are also no longer in college and one deals crack.

I just never really felt the need to do it, especially after seeing the effect it had on some of my friends. I'm sure it's probably not harmful if you use responsibly, but it's just not for me.

Wow man that does sound pretty rough, sorry to hear about your friends. Like I said there are exceptions to every rule, and unfortunately your friends gave you a first hand example of this.

No offense to you, but your friends seem like they were f-ups anyway. If it wasnt weed, it would have been something else anyway. If someone feels like they need to smoke weed, they probably other issued and have no will power to begin with.

As previously stated, ive started and stopped many times. Not once did stopping drag out, it was cold turkey every time and I did so of my own choosing because I had other priorities to take care of. If people cant put aside something like smoking weed to take care of priorities in life then that their own issue.

Very true, and if you dont have the will power to control yourself then you're most likely going to end up a **** up regardless of what you try to do. This goes for **** near anything in life.
