Kinetiks

Well the hc2400 i'm most likely going to buy will not fit underneath my hood, and I don't feel all that comfortable mixing my optima yellow top and my kinetiks, so I think I'm going to put my HC800 up front, and my HC2400 on a rack over my wheel well in the rear. There wouldn't be any issues of a 240 amp iraggi alternator feeding right into a smaller HC800 and then a 2400 in the rear would there? I can do this OR the following. I could keep my optima yellow top underneath my hood and put 3 HC800s in the rear (they are skinny and would fit right behind my slanted seats so it would be a perfect fit, but I know it's generally not wise to mix/match different brands let alone type of battery. Let me know what you would do.

That would be fine.

Ah crap, I can't, the terminals on that HC800 are much different than the yellow top. I think I'll just stick 3 HC800s in the rear. That will give me a lot of amperage. That's 2850 amps just from the rear, and 3000 cranking amps total. Not too bad.

The HC800s are pretty beastly, I forgot to put my negative cable back on the battery underneath my hood and somehow I started my car... I was like, why the f did it take 5 seconds for my car to start.... then I popped my hood and the battery wasn't grounded and I thought to myself that's impossible. Then I remembered I'd just installed my HC800 in the rear with mediocre grounding and the car still started from the hc800 after it hadn't been used in 8 months, pretty impressive. The battery registered 12.8v before I installed it.
