I've had zero issues with Shuriken, for what that's worth.

And, yes, the similarities are...striking.

i know alot of guys who coompete switched to shuriken and havent had any problems

you can also call them and talk to Sheldon in tech support for any additional info you need. even he will tell you they are made by Kinetic for Metra.
