Kinetik or PowerMaster?

Be careful with EA, they have a bad record. I have friends that have had problems with them and I've read a bunch of complaints on here.
****, ok thanks for the heads up. What about Irragi? Any complaints there? His alts were about the same price. Mechman & others were all a hundred more.

Yep //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI'm going to get Excessive to build me an alt. Think he'll cut me a deal for being a local? lol He wants like $430 shipped for 220A alt. I didn't tell him I was close by haha.

Would 2 HC 2400s handle a 4400w system though? (220 or 240A alt.)
Possibly, but contact http://www.DCPowerinc.com first, i run their alts now. Had all the other brands, the DC are the best i've used. I would go with 2 D3100s for the batteries.

I have a kinetic 2400 under the hood and 2 pm d3100s in the back.

In all honesty, they should be pretty similiar in performance. I haven't done any sort of direct swap, so i can't really tell you if one was better than the other.

I would say go with whichever you can get cheaper if your comparing two w/similiar specs...

I personally run an HC1400 in my daily car. I am not a competitor. I have ran it for the past 4 years. I have ran my system with the key off while doing some work in the yard for a few hours and never had an issue starting the car back up. My amps used to go into protect mode before I bought the Kinetik. Never had one single issue since.

I have had friends who have used PM batts and they seemed to work fine too. I would say that PM does not seem to care about the car audio world too much. They do not support shows and competitions like Kinetik and other manufacturers do.

Do you prefer Chevy, Dodge, or Ford? It is really similar to that argument.

Actually Land Rover lol. That's what my family has owned in the past & what I have. But we do own a Chevy 2500 for pulling our boat down to the beach.

The D3100s are looking pretty good right now. Both the 2400s & D3100s are close to the same price.

I like my 2400. Even invested in a 2nd to add to the trunk. Have teammates who swear the PM's hold a higher charge and thus making them better for burps but the Kintetiks seem to recharge slightly faster therefore making them the stronger batt for Daily Groundpouders. It's all just what you prefer and what's best on your pocket book. imo

As far as Alts goes 220- 240amps will do just fine with 4400+. I got mine from http://www.highoutputalternator.com Talk to Phil. Good guy and very reasonable in pricing. 325shipped for a 220amp alt. Very strong alts. Have had no issues with mine.
