Kinetik or other?

Well here is the thing. I was checking out HO alternators for my car, and on a forum specifc to my car I was informed for my 2002 Civic SI hatch, the HO actually do less amps at idle then an HO.

I was thinking just doing a battery. I wanted to do a HC2000, but I have a friend telling me I need the alternator anyways. So I should forget a second battery.

He said if I MUST go with a battery in the rear, I should consider on Odyssey

Now my setup is a JBL CS60.4, and a RFP 1000-1BD.......... I figured the batt would take care of my dimming problems, however my friend says I need an alt that will do 100amps + at idle

on 1200 watts? i would do an 1800 or 2000 if it would fit with the big 3 **and check before i bought an alt. also know what you are getting alt wise as you can end up not getting what you want unless you are driving 45 miles an hour LOL. Look into iraggi or another known brand that has good tech support and ask before you buy.

** i would do the big 3 first and try it. the kinetik battery wont corrode like a stock battery will and give you more reserve.

i have seen it where it was and also seen where it wasnt. thing is most of the time it wasnt the stock alt was already shot......just get it free tested at autozone
