kinetik not taking charge

i have 2 kinetik 2400's,sometimes you can put the charger on them and they will charge right up to about 14.4 or so,and now you can put the charger on them and it wont go above 12.9,the batteries are nearly new,when i crank up my truck the alternater is putting out 14.6 but the batteries will not hold a surface charge no more than 13 for a couple of seconds after the engine is cut off,before they would hold a better surface charge than this,im just trying to see if someone can help me out on this one.thnks john

What kind of charger do you have?

not a real good one,but still it done ok before,but yes im getting a charger from powermaster soon.
