Kinetik KHC1400 or Batcap 800?

I have a chance to get either one for the same price of $80. The Kinetik 1400 is 6 months old and the Batcap 800 is new, never used. I'll be running an RD 1000.1 (1,000 watts rms) on a single 12 and an RD 160.2 (500 watts rms) on my 3-way comps. My car is a Scion tC, stock electrical system. The stock alternator is rated at 100 amps, 70-80 at idle.I'll also do the big 3 upgrade. 0 gauge will be run to the back of the car with 4 gauge going to the amps. I appreciate all inputs!

if you can find out how much abuse the kinetic has endured, i would say that.... if the guy just beat the living crap out of it for 6 months, tho, i would go with the batcap

i have a small deka equal to an hc600 but built way better brand new 50 plus shipping flat rate so

With only 1000 watts you may be just fine with the big 3

buy both? I'm biased to batcap, but the kinetik should be bigger/better. though those 800s are awesome for their size

I was kind of thinking the same thing regarding the batcap. I do like the smaller size. And I'll probably get an HO alternator next year.

batcap kinetics start to swell after a year or two the batcap puts out close to the same power but smaller
