kinetik HC800 and Powermaster D925

if it is for the system in your signature with a 120 amp alt I would go bigger than either 1 of those. By chance you start to deep cycle that small of a battery you would/could chew up the life span of the battery.

I don't think it is enough to say that any certain battery can power xxxx watts. Sure it might be good enough to play some music for a few minutes, but that is hardly the max rated output of the amp. If you are a competitor that is burping and need to be able to push the true output, you can't go by these type of statements. That is why their website shows it is good up to 1000W. Just because you got it to hit 2000W in a lab, that does not mean it will actually do that in every vehicle.

I wish that he had answered my questiona bout how many amps of current that unit can push at 12v. Forget all the CA and CCA numbers, they are garbage. I want to know how much it can supply down to 12v, not 7.2v.

Believe me it will work. Give me time I will pull all of the Independent Battery Test Results and you can see for yourself.
So you are saying these tests will show that the 680 will suppliment 2000++ watts to full potential constant or for short bursts? How do they hold up to deep cycling? Does the size of these types of batteries effect the amount of deep cycles it can have?

I'm saying that when the D680 is used as an additional battery to the upfront battery that the two of them together can get the job done.

I'm sure the smaller batteries are alot closer together in terms of power than the larger ones. The HC2400 vs the D3100 isn't even close. The PM wins by a large margin!

So you are saying the back battery won't be used more by the amp considering it is closer? interesting

Wins at what? Bursts, deep cycles..does it even sound better? ..These tests prove what at a usable level to an audio system? Hell going off some of those tests I have seen, my Napa battery should have KILLED or at least kept up with my 1400...It didn't ..not even starting my truck on an extreme cold day. CA CCA tests do not care about staying at a USABLE level for car audio or even starting a MODERN CAR.
