Didn't say to use it as a starter battery i said I hve seen it start cars before. The email i recieved from metra said don't use a SK bt60 under the hood because they don't have cranking power. If they are the same surely would recommend them to start a car LOLi definitely wouldn't recommend using the HC600 for a starter battery.
I am a kinetik rep?:laugh:so are you saying I made up a name of a metra Representative and put words into his non existing email?I find that hard to believe that Metra would say that. Hummmmmmmm sounds like a marking gimmick to me seeing that you are a Kinetik rep.
I know you weren't implying that. I was just saying, just in case some might think it's okay/safe/reliable to use it as a starter battery under the hood.Didn't say to use it as a starter battery i said I hve seen it start cars before. Yep that about sums it up. You are administrator on Kinetik's forum hummmmmmm and you say you are not a rep?I am a kinetik rep?:laugh:so are you saying I made up a name of a metra Representative and put words into his non existing email?
We are using 6 of the BT120's in Steve's Tahoethat's nice to know.. have you use this batt, mike? ima check it out.
What does "team pricing" have to do with dealer costs?I wouldn't pay more for the kinetik.
Their "team" pricing has gotten ridiculous, to the point where it would be cheaper for me to order one through some buddies at a shop that can get them from wholesale house.
No thanks.
Team pricing has gone up by over $100 last time I checked. What does "team pricing" have to do with dealer costs?
Nope, I watch the site and clean it out is all. I worked there in fall 2005 left spring 2006 and I am good friends with Pat is all. I have been friends with him since 1993. So what reply did you get from Metra from asking about the BT line of batteries under the hood?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifYep that about sums it up. You are administrator on Kinetik's fourm hummmmmmm and you say you are not a rep?
Do tell. You cut them both apart and they were identical? They also both had the same electrolyte? Do you have any pics of this experiment? I am always looking for good battery info and would love to see the guts on them both. Do share. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifItnernals are the same but both batteries have different casings
Im with Tommy on this one .....Team pricing has gone up by over $100 last time I checked.
And the price i'm referring to isn't dealer cost, it's wholesale house cost.
I was under the assumption that team pricing should be LESS than what I would pay for one from a shop, but I guess i'm alone there? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Thus, I shall look elsewhere for batteries.
x2 Why would team pricing be more than the average shop?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gifTeam pricing has gone up by over $100 last time I checked.

It's also funny how competitor cost goes up by $100, but wholesale house cost stays the same? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifIm wth Tommy on this one .....
