it sayzz the shuriken battery shipped from sonic electroix to here is 264 bucks
i can brand new kinetik 2400's here for 300.

and no they are not the same batteries to the person who says they are.

OP, goto a local shop that carries Kinetik and say you can do 300 for one

im baked hope that mades sense
For me it's a lil cheaper from Sonic Electronics....

Order Subtotal: $209.99

Sales Tax: $0.00

Shipping Fee: $30.58

Grand Total: $240.57

Where's the best price at online for a new Kinetik HC2400?

I have seen both batteries in person and there is no way you could say these are the same battery from outward appearance. They are very different on the outside. The Shuriken battery is made from very think cheap feeling plastic. The cases are not anywhere the same, so if you go by the outside case being the determining factor, they are not made in the same factory.

That said, just because the outside of two batteries is similar, that does not mean that the inside is the same. Even if two batteries are made in the same factory, that does not mean they are identical. They could have different plates and electrolytes.

Here is an email I had from Shuriken (metra) you tell me if you think they are the same. This was over using 2 SK-BT60s, 1 under the hood the other in back. Call them or email them they will tell you the same thing

"Hello,

The battery will help your voltage draw but you can only use them in the rear cause there is no cranking amps in these battery.

My 1400 has started my truck every time for 4+ years and the bt60 is their equivalent to the hc1400

Ya, it's hard to beat the quality of Kinetik, it's just soo much money for the HC2400 I don't know if I can justify spending that much.
How about the HC1400? Would that be suffeciant for my 2krms setup?
the hc1400 is alittle too small. I'm running my 2kw system with one in the trunk and its a little much for the batt to handle if I'm going full tilt

Itnernals are the same but both batteries have different casings

Im not talking about the BT100 and the HC2400 as a direct comparison. If you want a direct comparison the look at the BT120 and the HC2400
If they are the same then why does metra say they basically won't start a car? I have seen an HC600 start cars and I have seen an HC800 start a big SUV..My 1400 starts my truck and has in -10 degree weather for over 3 months in the last 4 years

I find that hard to believe that Metra would say that. Hummmmmmmm sounds like a marking gimmick to me seeing that you are a Kinetik rep.
