Walked into ABC Warehouse....kinda like Best Buy for those who don't know......had $3600 in cash in my hand. Bought a new Samsung HLS5687W:yumyum: and tried to buy a new Samsung HD-DVD but they were on back order with no arrival date.

So no HD-DVD for me right now, anyways, so i go up to the counter and plop down $2084 for the TV, matching stand, and 5 year service plan only to have fat-boy at the counter tell me that it might come in on Wednesday. I said, "what do you mean it might?" he proceeds to tell me that they only have 12 in stock and if those are already spoken for then i'll have to wait for the next shipment and he has no idea when that will be. So i'm like " you take my $2084 in cash but you can't guarentee when i'll get my TV?" so in turn he says thats correct. So i say " How about you call me when it gets here and then i'll come pay for it, and if it isn't here on wednesday, then i'll cruise over to best buy and pick one up." Then he proceeds to tell me that if i don't pay for it then he can't order it from the warehouse. So now i'm pissed off...hope it comes wednesday or i'm going to get my loot back

best buy couldn't come within $600 on their advertised price....and they would price match but the best buy closest to me is actually 45 miles away. ABC is doing in-home delivery/set-up for free as well and best buy can't offer that since i live so far.

Best buy's advertised price was $2088 on the tv, $450 for the stand plus $399 for the service plan. Add taxes and i'm over $3000@ best buy.

abc is the shit but their car audio sucks. there service plans are pretty good too. parents had a big screen go dead and they were out within 2 days and the TV was back up and running. you'll also get half that back if you never use it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i just got a 36" samsung HDTV

went to best buy lst saturday

still hasent came yet...they called us the day it was to be delivered to say they have none in the warehouse to deliver
