Kind of irritated; get this straight for me

Well I'm talking on my local auto forums people make claimes that are either bogus or real and I have no idea I just want input from you guys as to the validity of these claims.

Claim 1: One hit 150 dbs with 2 MA Audio 10''s in a "slit port" box powered by a rockford bd1500.1.

Claim 2: Another person hit 141.1 dbs with 2 audiobahn comp 10''s in a sealed box powered by a Power Acoustik sp? 1200 watt amp.

Are these possible? Its just I mean these people go around saying they have the hardest hitting systems around but its just hard to believe.

Claim 1 - Nice amp, half *** speakers unless it's their HIGH end, which even then they arent hitting a 150, even on a nice mic, maybe in the port though?

Claim 2 - Doubtful, HELLA install, maybe, but doubtful.

Buy four RE 8's, build a nice box, and show them up with your 160+ system(sarcasm)

^That's what I said. "Claim 2" guy said the shop metered him and he won a comp. Its hard to call him a liar since he's also a very very respected tuner as far as I know.

EDIT: i see it now, just because hes a respected tuner doesnt mean hes a good competitor, and doesnt mean he knows anything about it. The tuner ive met donno shit but jl this jl that.
