kind of box to build????

I have limited trunk space, and 2 12" Earthquake subs (i know, they were cheap) and i don't know what kind of box to build, i listen to metal and rock and stuff. I am goin for sound quality here. thanks for your help

if your willing to put some money into it id buy a bandpass box, they're smaller and sound excellent... if you insist on building your own id say to build a split vented box...

If you have limited trunk space you want to STAY AWAY FROM BANDPASS enclosures. They are bigger than ported, and way bigger than sealed. The smallest box you can build is a sealed enclosure. Good low end extension. But at the cost of output. A ported enclosure is larger than sealed but has greater output.
