That's when I chuckle and walk away. Like the people who were convinced I was running an Earthquake sub at the last show, and they had never heard of this "Elemental Designs" shit and were dead-set on it being from Earthquake.

Just like when I explained to a customer at Lowe's that many people (including myself) who enjoy SPL use hearing protection when using sawing equipment and that it was interesting that he didn't. I said I heard even Scott Owens uses such hearing retention devices and he has the loudest car in the world. The customer behind him said he has it higher than 180.3 (but didn't understand my comment of 'what meter) and that he would show me his system. I walked off. The guy was a joke. In retrospect I should have atleast looked, but if I did and laughed, the guy would have either kicked my *** or complained. Either way, I lose. Walking away FTW.

Atleast I did convince a customer not to use our wire for the big 3. I told him that was very cool that he was doing it and I reccomended knu.

I do feel ya man, im sure your constantly being bombarded by people you know that have less then quality equipment claiming this and that. You gotta look at it like this, they're just not as educated as you on the products out there and maybe your priority to school them with your new setup's power should be perhaps channeled into showing them what they can do to make their dual/audiobing/whatever louder. I promise you if you try to help that guy out you'll get more satisfaction than just schooling him with your setup.

You shoulda seen the comments I made about dudes fully resined box with the type rs. I said I could build a better box with one eye and one arm.....j/k I did bet the guy with that 'wall' in his truck (the smaller truck) would get some comments...as I assume it is a SPL desined kind of deal.
