Kickpanel tweeters in a truck

Searching more and more for those convertible tweeters, I stumbled upon a could posts about placing the tweeters in the kick panel.

Any success will this?

I ahve an 09 Ranger and it looks like my leg would block the sound to the passenger.

MBQuart makes a new inverted dome titanium tweeter that is omnidirectional, just installed a set in a 2002 mazda and the sound wave is very wide. feet dont block the sound at all and they are 1.6" !!! all the pvi series components use them and they are convertable for coaxial mount as well. PVI 216 is the 6.5 and they sell the tweeter kits seperate as well with a x-over to match right here :

Thanks, I will look into that....1.6" --almost a midrange
