kicker zx850.4 turning off

i have my first 2 channels running my comps set for 175rms per side i set gains with dmm and tone and i have the hp at 80hz and the 2 channels are bridged to run my sub at 425rms set it with dmm as well

well after playing maybe even 5 mins or so of full volume it just randomly turns off and i looked at the amp and if its in protect then the green light should go to red correct, well if doesnt it just turns off the green goes away and just acts like its getting now power,

what would cause that if its getting to hot woldnt it go into protect, once it turns off i turn the volume down and it kicks back on for 5 mins at full vol it shuts off again

anyone know whats going on

its a 06 model i got from mrwigglezdj its been a good amp besides that just curious why its doing that

low voltage my 1500.1 does the same thing.

turn the bassboost all the way off if you have it on and lower the gains a little.

Double check your remote wire.

well i dont see why my remote wire would be causing the problem i dont have the problem with my other amp's remote wire, maybe i should switch them and see what happens

also my HU i dont think that would have anything to do with it since i am using a loc plus my amp wouldnt actually turn off the power light going off and not going red or anything, also how is it low voltage when i am above 1500rpms and i have over 12 volts if that was the case wouldnt it go into protect and the light turn red

also how low of voltage will cause it to go in protect

Bad ground maybe? That would probaably make the amp shut off though right

well the other amp isnt shutting off and its on the same ground from the dist block

i was thinking its getting too hot since i have them maxed out the gains wise no not turned up all the way i set with a dmm just saying i have the amp doing all it can do

but if its getting hot wont it go into protect
