I just installed a brand new Kicker ZX700.5 along with Rainbow SLC 265's and an SQ10 10" sub (2 ohm). My temporary HU is a Pioneer DEH-P3900.

I have the ZX700.5 bridged to 2 channel for the SLC 265's and the fifth channel connected to the sub. I have the gains all turned all the way down. The sub is not putting out any sound and the amp cuts out for a second or two every 5-10 seconds when I turn the volume over 50 (top volume level is 62). The SLC's sound really good when they are playing, but I can't figure out what is causing the amp to cut off.

It was very hot (100 degrees) and my truck had been sitting in the heat all day.

I have a ZX450.2 running 2 CDT EF-61's. the same thing has happened to me twice but only at VERY high levels. The way i got it to stop was to not turn it up that loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif as for why it does it i dont know. I'm guessing its some form of protection.

There has to be more to it than "normal operating condition". I am not gettting any sound from the fifth (sub) channel. And the front stage speakers cut out quite often and the gain is turned all the way down.
