i would highly recommend the 750.1 to anyone looking for a mono amp around 600-800wrms @ 2 or 4ohm. IMO these are some solid little amps and arent all that power hungry at all. I ran one on my 12" Q...but was thinking about trying out the new tma 1000.1 and heard the tma's are nothing but a pos.

but have also heard mixed reviews on the tma's.

cliffs:kicker amps are good amps for the money. You get what you pay for.

we aren't even talking about a KX series amp here. He is asking about kicker's ZX750.1....different amp, newer model.

I run kicker amps and have never had any problems. They are not power hungry, always underrated, and i've only seen a few go into protect mode (ZX series) and that was due to installer errror

Any how, the KX line was ended in '05. In that era, Brutus amps were blowing left and right.
