Kicker zx amps.... good or average for $$

I have been researching amps and I like the Kicker amps.

If these are good amps with a zx 400 run one 12 inch woofer or will I need the power of the zx 750?

They're really good amps. It depends on what the 12 is.

Now that I am narrowing the amps down to justa few, I need to work on a 12 inch woofer. Any suggestions for low bass and not clappy sounding... I like some good boom!

i have both a ZX550.2 and a ZX750.1 and i like them both a lot. good solid amps and can be had for a good price on ebay.

You dont think the zx750.1 is too big for one 12 inch woofer? I priced the amp on ebay at $199 plus sh/h

depends on the woofer. there are people out there putting a few thousand watts on a single 12. then there are also 12" subs that will blow with 300 watts.
