I have a Kicker ZX 750.1 amp and Kicker CVR12. My amp is 375 watts at 4 ohms and 750 watts at 2 ohms. My sub is 400 RMS and 800 watts max. My sub is a 4 ohm dual voice coil woofer and it's wired to 2 ohms. What's the best way to run the amp? Should I run the amp at 2 ohms or 4 ohms? I want to get the most out of my amp and sub. I don't want to underpower my sub.

2 ohms - set gains correctly, no bass boost and you should have no problems

If I run the amp at 2 ohms will the sub blow out even with the gain down? I don't know how to make the amp run at 2 ohms or at 4 ohms? How do I set that up?

you dont "set "the amp - its how you wire the sub. with a 4 ohm dvc you can either wire it to 2 ohm or 8 ohm. wire it to 2 ohm dont crank the gain full blast (search for the gain setting tutorial) no bass boost and you should be fine

yes that is correct - and this link is helpfull for multiple sub setups and whatnot.
