Kicker ZX 700.5 info

Hey guys ive been doin some research on the Kicker ZX 700.5 five channel amp. I have a 12" L5 but might upgrade to the 15. Does the mono channel on these have enough power for the 15 or even the 12? I believe the mono channel does around 420rms @ 4ohms. I know it obviously wont pound them, but would it be enough to run one of them efficiently?

I currently have the older school version of the KX400.1 and it runs it pretty good.

ALso any complaints with these amps, any really good qualities?

itll work fine, just not to its full potential.

ive 'underpowered' plenty of subs and they slam just fine.

i have the older model 3 channel (kx550.3) and i love it. no problems at all. underrated , solid amps for sure.

thanks finnaly someone chimed in...

Yeah pretty much what i figured, for my new setup i think one amp would work better than having two (i know in a perfect world, a big monoblock and a seperate four channel would be ideal). THe new template for the back has a window opening thats about perfect length for the 700.5
