Got an os Kicker zr360 running two 4-ohm RF DVC. I have had this setup installed previously in this car and the car before this with no issues. This week I was jamming at about 32 (out of 35) and all of the sudden the woofers started sounding muddled after hitting a low bass hit. The low bass was basically gone but some higher was still registering through the subs.
I powered down the hu and turned the volume down and seemed fine. Once the volume got back up to 32...boom same deal.
After checking my wires I found that:
1. If the RCAs are plugged into the amp, the woofers will buzz at zero volume
2. While the RCAs are plugged in I can touch the amp & the woofers start buzzing louder.
3. If the RCAs are unplugged, no buzz in woofers.
4. If I plug in a separate set of RCAs not connected to anything I get the same buzz from woofers.
I have never had this problem before and any help would be appreciated.
