can you tell if a sub is dual 2's or dual 4's if so how

i cant think of any way other then the coils would have to be checked with a dmm. the posts are still the same eather d2s or d4s. basing that from the mtxs and cvxs ive seen

ok well as of now i can only find brand new dual 4ohm subs i could buy and switch out but i am worried that they will open the box and see mine i put in there because mine are refurbished and have some scratches and such on them

if they cant tell it was open they shoudnt open the box right

if so i can trade refurbs for brand new lol

if they see the subs are not brand new looking what would they do or can i just file a complaint when i get them saying the subs are beat up looking and just ask for my money back right

if its a return they might pull out the sub real quick and see that its not all busted up or what not. i dont think that they will examine it that closely, but who knows it might just work out.
