kicker sx900.4 able to power alpine type r's

Although this amp is used for highs, I was wondering if i would be able to use it too power two 12' alpine type R's instead of having to purchase a new amp. Any help would be appreciated.

just sale that amp on here and buy a mono 1k rms amp off ehre and youll be good.

yes it would power a pair of type R's just fine

thanks for the help, id rather not have to go through the trouble of selling the amp provided it could power the type R's fine.
