Do you guys think Kicker has good SQ subs? I plan on getting two CVR12s and was wondering if it has good SQ.

Kicker subs can absolutely have good sound quality... Polecat (Kicker rep) explains all the time that kicker has won many sound quality competitions. It is all in the install. Sure they may not be the BEST subs out there for SQ, but they certainly can sound good. Anyone who tells you differently is a newb.

lol i knew i would hear shit about posting that, but i dont care, i had a couple l7's in sq rec box and didnt like them. Was a lot happier with soundsplinter ;0

I'd step it up a few bucks and get an Ascendant Audio Assassin 12" for $90

How about Alpine Type Rs? I might end up having to get a cheaper system so I can pay for other parts. So I was thinking of getting one 12" Alpine Type R, does it have good SQ and still bump?

Type R's definately sound good... I have a 12" right now in 2.5 cubes tuned to 32 htz... if you are looking for the best, than look elsewhere... but type r's definately do not sound bad at all...
