Kicker RS 6.5's + ZX250.2 = good combo?

200 peak / 100 RMS

ZX250.2

85 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

125 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms

or should i go with the 350.2

110 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

175 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms

btw it will be @ 4 ohms

would i really notice a difference in an extra 25 watts per speaker?

Honestly, either amp will work fine. The extra power really isn't enough to make too much of an audible difference, however, if the price isnt' much more, you might as well.

i have kicker ks 6.5's + 200.2 and they get pretty loud... almost overpower my substage... although i have them crossover'd at like 100hz or so, so i dont get much midbass (not that it matters)

Headroom is always good. You might need more power if you decide they arent loud enough and go a different route on speakers.

I told him to do 2 component sets per door, but he doesn't want to right now because of the shitty weather.

I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to be outside trying to make door pods in 20 degree weather.
